There really is nothing quite like a UK beach holiday. While we’ve had some fantastic holidays abroad, our lasting family memories have all been made here on home soil – or should I say, home sand!
Of course, travelling with babies and toddlers usually involves packing the kitchen sink! Buggies and bouncers, potties and pop-up beach tents! One year, when my son was going through a particularly picky eating phase, I even packed a suitcase full of his favourite pureed meals. They were magical holidays, collecting shells, exploring rockpools with tiny fishing nets, and writing our names in the wet sand. Oh, and the time when the seagull stole a sandwich straight out of my son’s hand!
